7 Protective functions
7�1 Over-temperature protection
7�1 Übertemperaturschutz
Der Motor besitzt verschiedene Schutzfunktionen, um
Schäden durch Überbelastung zu vermeiden. Jede
dieser Schutzfunktionen wird nachfolgend im Detail be-
schrieben. Die Endstufe schaltet automatisch ab, wenn
ein kritischer Wert erreicht wird.
The motor has several protection functions to avoid
damages by overload.
Each protection function is described below in detail.
If a critical limit is reached the power stage is
disabled automatically.
Zum Schutz des Motors bei Überlastung ist ein Tempe-
raturmessfühler in der elektronischen Endstufe inte-
griert, welcher die Temperatur der Leiterplatte misst und
den Regler bei zu hoher Temperatur abschaltet. Um
den Antrieb nach dem Abschalten wieder in Betrieb zu
nehmen, muss der Fehler quittiert werden.
Der Fehler kann über die Kommunikationsschnittstelle
quittiert werden, wenn die über die Kommunikations

schnittstelle auslesbare Temperatur unter 100°C liegt.
To protect the motor against overloading, a temperature
sensor is built into the electronic output stage, which
measures the temperature of the printed circuit board
(PCB) and switches the controller off when the tempe
-
rature is too high. To return the drive to service after the
over-temperature cut-off, the error must be confirmed.
The error can be confirmed if the temperature read by
the communication interface has fallen below 100°C.

Wenn die Spannung für die Logikversorgung unter
12V fällt, schaltet die Leistungsstufe ab.
If the logic supply voltage falls below 12V, the power
stage is disabled.
If the power supply voltage falls below 21V the power
stage is disabled. The error can be confirmed if the
power supply read by the communication interface is
>21V.
Wenn die Versorgungsspannung unter 21V fällt, schal-
tet die Leistungsstufe ab. Der Fehler kann über die
Kommunikationsschnittstelle quittiert werden, wenn
die über die Kommunikationsschnittstelle auslesbare
Leistungsspannung >21V ist.
If the logic supply voltage exceeds 28V the power
stages is disabled.
Wenn die Spannung für die Logikversorgung 28V
überschreitet, schaltet die Leistungsstufe ab.
The drive system must be designed in
a way, so that the protective functions
are not required in regular operation.
Das Antriebssystem muss so ausge-
legt sein, dass die Schutzfunktionen
im regulären Betrieb nicht beansprucht
werden.
7.5 Over voltage cut-off power stage supply
7�5 Überspannungsabschaltung Leistungsver-
sorgung
If the power stage supply exceeds 55V, the power stage
is disabled. The error can be confirmed if the power
supply read by the communication interface is <55V.
Wenn die Versorgungsspannung die 55V überschreitet,
schaltet die Leistungsstufe ab. Der Fehler kann über
die Kommunikationsschnittstelle quittiert werden, wenn
die über die Kommunikationsschnittstelle auslesbare
Leistungsspannung <55V ist.
