surface to the limit stop (A).
“Road use” standard adjustments

compression: 8 clicks (from fully closed
position);

rebound: 8 clicks (from fully closed position);

spring preload: 7 turns (from fully unloaded).
Motorcycle “Off-Road use”
“Off-Road” standard adjustments
-
rebound: 1.5 turns (from fully closed);
-
spring preload: 18.5 mm (0.73 in) from the spring
surface to the limit stop (A).
“Off-Road” standard adjustments
-
compression: fully open;
-
rebound: 14 clicks (from fully closed position);
-
spring preload: 10 turns (from fully unloaded).
Attention
To turn the preload adjuster ring nut use a pin
wrench. Pay attention to avoid hand injuries by
hitting motorcycle parts in case the wrench tooth
suddenly slips on the ring nut groove while moving it.
Attention
The shock absorber is filled with gas under
pressure and may cause severe damage if taken
apart by unskilled persons.
