5.8. GA option - setting the Galactic function authentication code
The Galactic function allows for remote adding of remote controls programmed and configured outside the
installation, without physical access to the receiver's buttons.
The condition for successful adding is the compliance of the authentication code set in the remote control with the code
set in the receiver.
5.8.1 Galactic function on / off. Manual input of the authentication code to the receiver
To set the authentication code in the receiver:
 from the main menu level with the NEXT button select the 'GA' option and press the OK / ESC button of the
receiver;
 with the NEXT button set the parameter value to 'on' and press the OK / ESC button of the receiver;
 the display will show a flashing first character of the Galactic authentication code;
 by pressing the NEXT button, select the value of the first character of the Galactic authentication code;

press and hold the NEXT button to edit the next character of the Galactic authentication code;
 set the next characters in the same way;

after entering the code, press the OK / ESC button on the receiver;
 with the display showing 'on.A3', press the OK / ESC button three times to accept the setting of the Galactic
function authentication code.
To disable the Galactic function, proceed as follows:
 from the main menu level with the NEXT button select the 'GA' option and press the OK / ESC button of the
receiver;
 with the NEXT button set the parameter value to 'oF' and press the OK / ESC button;
 with the display showing 'on.A3', press the OK / ESC button three times to accept the deactivation of the Galactic
function.
5.8.2 Setting the Galactic authentication code using the remote control with Galactic function
The authentication code can also be set using the remote control with the authentication code set.
To set the code with the remote control:

press and hold the C1 / C2 button of the receiver;
 when 'c1' / 'c2' is displayed, press any two buttons on the remote control with the Galactic code for 5 seconds;

release C1 / C2 button of the receiver when 'GA.on' appears on the display, signaling that the code has been
entered correctly and the Galactic function is activated.
