Calibration Procedures: Pressure Indicator Modules (PM
620-IS)
Perform the calibration as follows:
1.
Assemble the DPI620G-IS calibrator with the necessary
PM 620-IS modules; for example see
Section 3.1
.
2.
Connect the assembled instrument to the pressure
standard; for example see
Section 3.2
).
3.
Let the equipment get to a stable temperature
(minimum: 60 minutes since the last power on).
4.
Use the calibration menu (Ref:
Section 10.2
) to do a
three-point calibration or a two point calibration, as
specified in Table 10-15
)
:
Gauge Sensor:
-FS †, Zero and +FS
† see Table 10-15
Absolute sensor: Zero and +FS
(Zero, +1/2 FS and +FS if the
software version requires a three-
point calibration)
5.
Check the calibration is correct:
•
Select the applicable pressure function.
•
Apply the following pressure values:
Ranges Gauge:
0, 20, 40, 60, 80, 100, 80, 60, 40, 20, 0 (%FS)
0,-20, -40, -60, -80, -100, -80, -60, -40, -20, 0 (%FS)
Ranges Absolute:
0, 20, 40, 60, 80, 100, 80, 60, 40, 20, 0 (%FS)
