Dear customer,
Thank you for purchasing this DRU product. Our products
have been developed and produced in accordance with the
highest quality, performance and safety requirements.
This means that you will be able to enjoy using this pro-
duct without any problems, for many years to come.
The appliance is available in two versions, the wood (see
picture 1) and pebble (see picture 2) version
(see placing
pebbles and placing twigs).
The flame effect of this atmospheric hearth can be used
with and without heating.
The heating can be used in two positions, namely 750
watts or 1500 watts.
At any time of day you can enjoy the relaxing realistic
flame effect generated by the most modern technology.
The energy used for the flames is very low (about 14
watts)
In this booklet you will find the instructions for installing
and using your new appliance.
Read the instructions and the manual carefully, so that you
will be familiar with the appliance.

This appliance complies with the applicable CE directives.
Introduction
In this manual you will find information on the assembly of
the appliance, its maintenance, environmental aspects and
the safety regulations.
Read this manual carefully before you place the appliance
and store it in a safe place.
Packaging
The appliance may only be transported in its special packa-
ging. If you do not use the correct packaging, damages may
occur during transportation, which may lead to dangerous
situations.
Removing the packaging
When you are ready removing the packaging, the packaging
materials should be removed in accordance with local
regulations.
Keep the packaging materials until the appliance is installed
and tested.
Taking delivery of the appliance
When taking delivery of the appliance you should check if
the packaging is undamaged. If it is damaged, you should
contact your supplier.
Never use the product if the packaging is damaged!
Installation
The appliance should be placed by an authorized profes-
sional dealer in accordance with the applicable regulations.
Connecting
The appliance should be connected to an earthed wall
socket.
The appliance has a power consumption of about 1500
watts (with both heating elements activated). For that
reason the atmospheric hearth is provided with two 8
amp slow-blow fuses placed in the mains entrance
(see figure D) .
You should take account of any other appliances connect-
ed to the same mains group, so that the group’s maximum
power consumption is not exceeded.
