Removing the front pane
•
Remove the plug from the wall socket
•
Unscrew the 2 fixing screws at both sides of the appli-
ance (
see figure K ) and keep the front glass plate in its
place, now unscrew the 2 upper fixing screws as well
(
also see figure K )
•
Carefully remove the glass plate from the appliance and
leave it at a safe place where the glass plate is of no
danger to you or anyone else, as a result of collisions or
falling
•
Place the glass plate in such a way that it cannot be
damaged! (on a blanket, for example)
Remember that the glass pane can break
easily and cause injuries! So do be careful
when removing it, or call your supplier.
Assembly takes place in opposite order.
CAUTION: the back pane may not be taken out.
Using the heater for the first time
When using the heating elements for the first time, you
may notice an unpleasant smell.This is caused by the dust
that is present and the element’s material when it is used
for the first time.
Make sure the room is well ventilated, the smell will
quickly disappear after the heater has been warmed up a
few times. If the unpleasant smell does not go away, please
contact your supplier.
Placing the pebbles before placing the front
glass plate
For placing the pebbles, you should first remove the front
pane (see removing pane).
Place the pebbles as shown in
picture S .
Carefully install the pane again.
Placing the twigs before placing the front
glass plate
For placing the twigs, you should first remove the front
pane (see removing pane).
Place the twigs as shown in
picture T .
If you drop the twigs, you could break them!
Carefully install the pane again.
Maintenance and cleaning
Every 10 years, the following aspects of the appliance
should be checked:
1. Adhesive bonding (double-sided tape) of the front
glass pane
2. Quality of the earth connections
Sub 1
a) Check whether the tape has plenty of adhesive power
and does not come loose anywhere
b) Check if the front pane has not come down compared
to its original position
c) Carefully pull the pane to the front at a number of
points (below and above) and check if the glued joint
does not loosen, i.e. is still strong enough.
If the adhesive bonding shows any weaknesses, you should
remove the front pane from the appliance.
Contact your supplier and do not use your appliance!
Sub 2
Ask your installer to measure the earth resistance again,
with the right equipment.
