Placing and replacing the batteries of the
remote control
1. Remove the lid at the underside of the remote control.
2. Place two AAA type batteries in the battery compart-
ment and make sure you observe the correct polariza-
tion (plus and minus).
Caution: if the batteries are leaking, you could damage
the remote control beyond repair.
3. Close the lid.
Caution: old batteries should not be thrown away with the
household rubbish, but should be processed as small
chemical waste!
Switching on and switching off the appliance.
By using the switch at the bottom right side of the
appliance (0 or 1) the appliance can be switched on or off
(see figure G) .
Caution: if you switch off the appliance here, it
will no longer use any power. When switching
off the appliance (at night for example) we
always recommend using this switch.
