III. CONSTRUCTION
The device comprises of three main elements:
1. Housing with membrane keyboard,
5” screen with LED illumination and port for
communication with a PC.
2. Ultrasound probe.
3.
External package of rechargeable batteries.
Housing
is made of high-quality aluminium, has an
increased level of protection
– IP65. On the upper side
of the housing there is a port (closed with a cap) for
image transmission through the USB port to a PC and
permanently fixed socket of the probe cable (Photo 1a).
The version with goggles (Photo 1b) has two
sockets on the upper side (both closed with caps):

–pin socket for pictures and cine-loops
transfer to an external device, e.g. PC, Mac,

–pin socket for plugging in the goggles.
