Minimum Vent Configuration: Horizontal Termination with 0”-18” Vertical Rise
Use 5x8” Diameter Coaxial Vent
NOTE
: Use the included minimum vent pipe shield (and side shields – see page 22).
NOTE
: Use both included 8” firestops (use on front and back of wall penetration).
The termination must fall within the shaded area shown in the chart. Use the indicated
restrictor positions.
One 45° elbow may be used on the horizontal run.
A maximum of 18” of vertical vent may be placed on top of the fireplace. The fireplace
enclosure may need to be raised to accommodate the added rise. The pipe shield may be
cut down if it interferes with framing.
HINT
: Use minimum vent kit “H” (96200332) from Travis Industries (additional vent may be
required).
