7. Flue gas measurement
7.1 Select type of flue gas measurement
Selectable functions are:
Analysis / Stack losses
= Flue gas analysis / Stack losses calculation
Average
= Average measurement
CO measurement
= CO measurement
Comb. air O2
= O2 measurement of combustion air in ducts
Fresh air adjust
= zero point calibration with fresh ambient air
7.1.1 Preparing for flue gas analysis and average measurement
Connect the hose of the probe with the gas conditioner and the plug of the thermocouple
(marked red) with the socket marked “TG”. The combustion temperature sensor is plugged
into the socket “TR”.
Is “Analysis / Stack losses” or “Average” been chosen the fuel type selection is called.
After starting the burner please wait until the combustion is steady going. Direct after start
burner may emit high concentrations of toxic gases and soot and this would needlessly pol-
lute the instruments sensors.
7.1.2 Fuel type selection
Select the wanted fuel type.
Was the pump switched of before starting the measurement,
a small stabilisation time will follow.
