Presentation of the different modes

• Slave:

In this mode the computer alone can initialize a dialog and instruct the printer to send.

• Complete dialog:

In this mode both the computer and printer can initialize a dialog.
There is a check of the printer transmission.

NOTE

The printer dialogue is not permitted until after the start-up phase.
In general, control by the computer of the DTR signal from the printer
ensures that the latter is ready to dialog.
