In the Prices field enter the product sale price. If you do not enter a price, you will
be asked for it during every payment. By clicking on the symbol you pull down
other price options.
In the part Packaging and units enter the number of pieces per one sale. Then you
can also specify the EAN or PLU code in the part Barcode . Not only these codes
can be used to search products on the main screen.
You save the product by clicking on the diskette icon in the upper right corner.
If you need to adjust the product later, use the button
SAVE AND EDIT
. After
saving and opening again, other product preferences can be adjusted.
If in the advanced Dotypos settings you have enabled takeaway sales (see
chapter 3.2.1 Takeaway sales ), this option will be displayed in the product
properties in the item
General
. Likewise,
Portion
will only appear in the product
properties if you have defined them in the advanced settings as a percentage of
the typical portion and price.
Categories and products can be created also via the Dotypos Cloud web inter-
face (more information in the part 4. Dotypos Cloud ). Everything about produ-
