Noise Floor Optimization

Noise

Floor

Optimization

calculates

and

utilizes

any

available

leftover

capacity

each

channel

improve

the

overall

noise

floor

the

CP750.

operates

measuring

the

extent

which

the

unit

uses

the

available

headroom

the

‐

chain,

then

boosts

the

overall

gain

use

all

available

headroom.

The

analog

output

level

trims

are

then

reduced

the

amount

that

boost,

resulting

optimally

reduced

noise

floor.

This

adjustment

also

factors

the

headroom

available

the

fader.

Changes

the

output

trim

values

are

transparent

the

user,

and

changes

will

seen

the

fader

values

the

setup

software.

Clipping

may

occur

high

level

signals

the

fader

set

above
