6.4 Calibrating the Internal SPL Meter
You must calibrate the internal SPL before proceeding with alignment.
1. To start the process, click C under Signal Generator Enable to activate the Center
channel.
2. Select Pink Noise from the Signal Mode drop ‐ down list. Pink noise is sent to the
Center channel speaker.
3. Check the microphone level to be sure it appears in the target range as shown in
Figure 6 ‐ 2 .
If necessary, adjust the
Mic. Gain
on the rear panel of the CP750 until the level is within
the target range.
Note: The CP750 is shipped from the factory with the Mic. Input level
control set to the minimum.
