Setting to Show/Hide Caller ID
You can set whether to show your caller ID to the access point during packet communication.
This section describes how to use an AT command (*DGPIR command→P27) to configure the
settings prior to connecting.
Your caller ID is valuable information. Be sufficiently cautious when showing your caller ID.

Perform Steps 1 to 5 in "Setting Access Point (APN)" (P15)
Hyper Terminal starts.

Use an AT command to set whether to
show (186) or hide (184) caller ID
Enter the AT command in the AT*DGPIR=<n> format
as follows.
If "OK" appears after you enter the AT command,
the setting of whether to show or hide caller ID is
completed.
• If the entered characters do not appear, enter ATE1
.

To hide caller ID
AT*DGPIR=1
When you make or answer a call, 184 is added automatically.
■
To show caller ID
AT*DGPIR=2
When you make or answer a call, 186 is added automatically.
■
To reset the show/hide caller ID setting to its default (unset) using a *DGPIR command
AT*DGPIR=0
Note
• When you use the DOCOMO Internet connection service "mopera U" or "mopera", the caller ID
needs to be set to " 通知 (Show)"
Setting to show/hide caller ID using the access point number
You can also show or hide your caller ID by adding 186 (show) or 184 (hide) to the access point
number when you configure dial-up network settings (P18).
The show/hide status of the caller ID for each setting of the access point number and *DGPIR
command is as follows.
