Applications
Mobacas is a broadcasting service for
Smartphone. You can use two watching styles.
One of the two is “Real Time” (broadcasting in
real time style) that allows you to watch
programs in real time. The other one is “Shift
Time” (broadcasting in storage style) that
allows you to enjoy comics, novels, music,
games, etc. as well as movies and dramas
anytime and anywhere. Also, you can enjoy new
broadcasting services such as the
collaboration with social services using the
communication function of the handset.

A separate pay-TV subscription to the Mobacas
broadcast station (NOTTV) is required to use
Mobacas.
You cannot receive and watch broadcasts
without the docomo mini UIM card being
attached to the handset.
Mobacas is a broadcasting service provided in
Japan.
A microSD Card is required to use Shift Time. It
is recommended to use a microSD Card on
Class 4 or higher level.
The radio wave received via Mobacas differs from
that received via FOMA services and 1Seg.
Therefore, it cannot be received at the place where
the broadcast wave does not reach or while the
broadcasting is out of service, regardless of
whether the handset is outside or inside the FOMA
service area.
Also, in the following places, the reception status
may become weak or the signal may not be
received even if the handset is inside the Mobacas
service area.
Place that is far from the base station which
sends the signal
Place where the signal is interrupted due to the
landscape or buildings such as mountainous
areas or behind a building
Place where the signal is weak or does not
reach, such as a tunnel, basement or an inner
area of a building
Fully pull out the 1Seg/Mobacas antenna.
Change the direction of the 1Seg/Mobacas
antenna or move to another place so that the
reception status may become better.
When you put on an earphone to watch
Mobacas, it is recommended to use Earphone
Plug Cable (with Antenna) SH01.
When you use Earphone Plug Cable (with
Antenna) SH01, change the direction of the
cable or keep the handset apart from your body
so that the reception status may become better.
