You can send and receive mail using mail
address of i-mode (@docomo.ne.jp).
Pictograms and Deco-mail are available.
Automatic reception is also supported.

Follow the instructions on the screen and
operate after step 2.
You can send and receive text messages that
include up to 70 double-byte characters (160
characters for single-byte characters only) to/
from other handsets using phone numbers.
You can also exchange messages with users of
overseas telecommunications carriers. Refer to
“Mobile Phone User’s Guide [International
Services]” or the DOCOMO International Services
website for information on available countries and
overseas telecommunications carriers.

Messages are grouped into a thread by
destination and displayed.

Image
It is displayed if an image of the other
party is registered in the phonebook.
Touch it to select and use the application
corresponding to the registered contents
of the phonebook. If the other party is not
registered in the phonebook, you can
register the person in the phonebook by
touching the image.

For destinations of overseas
telecommunications carriers, enter “+”, the
country code, and the recipient’s mobile phone
number. If the phone number begins with “0”,
omit the “0”. Alternatively, enter “010”, the
country code and the phone number. Add “010”
to reply to SMS received from abroad.
Single-byte katakana and special symbols in
SMS text may not appear correctly for recipient.
SMS cannot be sent when “186” or “184” is
added.
