area.

Choose the first player: Each player rolls
three dice – whoever manages to get the most
Resistance symbols
starts the game (in case
of a tie, the players roll the dice again).
5
Starting from the first player and further
continuing in a clockwise manner, every player
receives
a player board
and appropriate
starting cards
, according to the numbers
printed on them. Only the
player boards
(and
starting cards
assigned to them) which have the
number
in top right corner corresponding
with the number of the active players will take
part in the game. The first player receives the
player board
numbered
1
, the second player (on
the left side of the first one) receives the
player
board
numbered
2
etc. Remaining
player boards
and
starting cards
should be placed back in
the box – they won’t be used in the game.

The first player places
3 dice
in front of
them.

Now you’re ready to play!
Playing the game
Starting from the first, the players take their
turns in a clockwise manner. In their turn, each
player not only rolls the dice but also skilfully
plays the cards, according to the following rules.
Rules for playing the cards
During the game, players are able to use cards
in several different ways:
1
Revealing cards
The cards should be revealed from the top of the
pile. The player draws the cards in their hand
and then places them face up in their chosen
order on top of the appropriate pile.
2
Taking cards
The cards should be drawn from the top of
the pile.
There may be symbols present on the card. They
will affect the
Event Track
differently depending
on whether the cards were face up or face down
when drawn.
A
symbol means an
ambush
set by the
First Order forces.
If the card drawn by a player is
face down
,
the Event Marker
should be moved on the
Event Track
in the direction of the
First Order
Wins field
as many fields as the number of the
ambush
symbols
in the top right corner
of the card.
If the card is already face up, the symbols are
ignored.
B
symbol means an
attack
by the First
Order forces. If the card drawn by a player is
face down
,
the Event Marker
should be moved
on the
Event Track
in the direction of the
First
Order Wins field
as many fields as the number
of the
attack
symbols
in the top left corner
of the card.
If the card was previously face down, the
symbols are ignored.
Remember!
If there are no symbols on the drawn card, the
Event Marker does not move.
