Inserting the battery pack
1.
Ensure that the appliance is switched off
(On/Off switch in the "0" position).
2.
Firmly push down the two pressure points
on the housing cover (Fig. 9/1.) and re-
move the housing cover (Fig. 9/2.).
3.
Insert the provided battery pack. In this
process ensure the following:
- The sticker with the text "
This side up
"
must be facing up (Fig. 10).
- The contacts in the battery pack must be
able to engage in the apertures in the in-
sulation of the battery pack (Fig. 10).
- Let the battery pack first slide into the
battery compartment on the side with
the contacts (Fig. 11).
- Leave enough space on the side of the
contacts that you do not crush the con-
tacts (Fig. 11).
- Then press the battery pack into the bat-
tery compartment on the other side
(Fig. 12).
- The battery pack must now rest evenly
on the bottom of the battery compart-
ment (Fig. 12).
4.
Replace the housing cover and push it
firmly to close it. You will feel and hear the
cover snap into place.

At delivery the battery pack is not charged.
