CAUTION
IMPROPER USE ON NON-SUITABLE SURFACES MAY CAUSE DANGEROUS SITUATIONS AND REDUCE THE LIFE
OF THE FORKLIFT. Contact the service network for advice on the arrangement of the surfaces or the type of forklift
most suitable for the surface in question.
Route
WARNING
Remove loose materials from the area of use that could cause the wheels of the forklift to slip or otherwise interfere
with the use of the forklift. Never enter wagons or trailers without first checking that their wheels are braked or
blocked with wedges. Check the tightness and condition of the flooring. Check the width, capacity and reliability
of the loading surfaces. Observe the route. Check that the passage area is free. Pay attention to obstacles and
the surrounding space, especially at the top. The danger points along corridors or paths must be secured and
equipped with the usual road signs and, if necessary, additional signs.
Parking
CAUTION
Before parking, lower the load completely. If leaving the forklift, turn it off. If the operator leaves the sight of the
forklift, he/she must hold the keys in order to prevent others from using the machine. Avoid parking on a slope. In
parking stops, even short ones, if possible do not stop the forklift on slopes.
Towing or pushing
CAUTION
Forklifts should not be used to push or tow loads or people.
Change of direction
DANGER
A forklift can also be tilted at low speed due to the center of gravity of the load. A dangerous curve taken at
relatively high speed can lead to the truck overturning. The truck is less stable when the forks are raised, even
without load. A non-centered load on the forks and uneven paths increase the risk of tipping over. In taking a curve,
the operator must take into account the displacements of the forklift due the change of direction. The operator
