This is a system application is needed to save all information that Windows or the applications save
into the Registry. It’s necessary because Windows Registry, and also all the folders except the ones in
the Hard Disk or the Storage Card, are not saved to disk but to RAM, and so their content is lost when
the MCU is powered off. This assures that at every power up the system starts from a known clean
situation. To save registry changes you need to use this program.
We suggest to the developers not to use the registry to save applications setup, and it use files in
Hard Disk. This avoids the necessity of continuously save registry, which is a discouraged operation.
The using of configuration files also allows a faster and safer update of the application’s parameters,
because only a small configuration file has to be transferred and not the whole big Windows Registry.
SysUtils
It is used to create special SD Card structures and to setup system settings.
1. Created SD Card can be the base for custom ones. SD Card creation is made during the DOS
boot procedure. All data is lost because the SD Card is formatted before creation.
