The Driver ID key is a steel, button-like, device that is very reliable and robust both mechanically and 
electrically. It can be easily kept by the driver in its key-ring.  
It also has 8 Kb of memory where the taximeter can store information on the driver’s shift totals, and 
information can be downloaded to the office using the ComServer program. 

Infrared Passenger Sensor 

These sensors are used by the taximeter to detect the presence of a passenger.  

If the meter detects that the vehicle is moving with a passenger, but the trip has not been started by 

the driver, it can automatically force the start of the trip or otherwise it can leave the trip closed but 

reminds that an irregular trip has been started or any other application required by the customer.
