Disk Partitioning

The HSD10 includes disk and stripeset partitioning capability. This allows increased
flexibility in the creation of storage units, according to application needs. Each disk or
stripeset can be partitioned into up to 8 equally-sized units; refer to the SET DISK, SET
STRIPESET, and MAP UNIT commands in Table 4-5. An example of partitioning is
shown here.

Note that characteristics specified using the SET UNIT command will affect all partitions
generated from the unit.
