Connecting Cables for the 100Base-FA Adapter
The following DIGITAL series of 100BaseFX fiber-optic cable is
supported for DE500-FA connections:
• BN34A — ST to SC multimode dual fiber-optic cable designed
with two ST connectors on one end and two SC push-pull
connectors on the other end to connect a Fast EtherWORKS
PCI 10/100 adapter (DE500-FA) to an office wall plate or another
active device. The connectors at each end of the cable have a red
and black boot to identify the transmit and receive signal path.
• BN34B — SC to SC multimode dual fiber-optic cable designed
with SC connectors on both ends to connect a Fast EtherWORKS
PCI 10/100 adapter (DE500-FA) to an office wall plate or another
active device. The connectors at each end of the cable have a red
and black boot to identify the transmit and receive signal path.
