Description

InUcastPkts

Number of Unicast packets received.

OutUcastPkts

Number of Unicast packets sent.

InNonUcastPkts

Number of non-Unicast packets received.

InDiscards

Number of incoming packets that were discarded.

OutDiscards

Number of outgoing packets that were discarded.

InErrors

Number of incoming packets that contained errors.

OutErrors

Number of outgoing packets that contained errors.

ICMP statistics

Description

InMessages

Number of incoming messages.

OutMessages

Number of outgoing messages.

InDestUnreachables

Number of incoming destination-unreachable messages
received. A destination-unreachable message is sent to the
originator when a datagram fails to reach its intended
destination.

OutDestUnreachables

Number of destination-unreachable messages sent. A
destination-unreachable message is sent to the originator
when a datagram fails to reach its intended destination.

InErrors

Number of incoming received messages with errors.

Description

Number of datagrams received.

OutRequests

Number of datagrams given to IP to transmit.

InAddressErrors

Number of received datagrams discarded because they were for another
host and could not be forwarded.
