When the moisture has been removed the beans begin to make a
cracking sound. After the coffee beans have distinctly cracked 3 or 4
times in succession, press the "Crack
" button. At this stage the fully
automatic, electronically controlled roasting begins.
While the Home Roasting System is operating in automatic mode, the
LED on the “Crack
“ button lights up.
The roasting process is completed with 3,5 minutes cooling down time.
This is started automatically. Cool air is blown over the coffee beans and
is indicated by the LED on the ”Crack
“ button flashing.
The roasting process is then complete, so the Home Roasting System
should be disconnected at the power switch and the coffee should be
removed and stored in a cool place until required.
The coffee beans can now be used, but resting them for up to 6 hours
after the end of the roasting process will optimise the flavour and aroma.
Allow the Home Roasting System to cool down after the end
of the roasting process. Do not touch any metallic part as
they may have become very hot.

" button is not pressed within 11 minutes of the roasting
being started, the roasting process is automatically switched off.
