Before operating for the first time
VERY IMPORTANT!
Some metal parts of the Home Roasting System are lightly oiled during
production to protect them from corrosion. Therefore, before the first use,
we recommend running the roaster for about 30 seconds with no
coffee in the drum to remove the oil. After 30 seconds press the
Stop button (on the control panel). After a cooling period of 3,5
minutes roasting can start.
Operation
The Home Roasting System must only be used for its intended purpose
and in accordance with the safety guidelines in this manual.
Filling with coffee beans
To fill the machine, first remove the
roasting drum from the holder. Using
both hands, place thumbs at the top of
the plastic housing, then using the
grips press the drum backwards
against the light resistance, and lift it
up and out (see Figure 2).
After removal of the drum, pull off the left cover side which is marked by
a yellow end. Using the measuring cup as instructed, fill the drum with
green coffee beans (ca. 0,300 kg).
NOTE!
Never fill with a smaller or larger quantity of green
coffee beans. The automatic timing system is
designed only for this drum load.
Replace the side cover and reinsert the roasting drum in the Home
Roasting System’s holding mechanism.
