USER’S INSTRUCTIONS
5.1
IGNITING THE PLAQUE BURNER (HOB) FIG. 3
To ignite the plaque pilot flame, press the knob (Fig. 3) turning it to the left onto the (
) symbol then press it fully in to
ignite the pilot flame. Keep the knob pressed for approximately 20 seconds; on letting go of it, the pilot flame should stay
alight, if it does not then you need to repeat the process. To ignite the burner, turn the knob onto ( ) for the maximum and
on to ( ) for the minimum. To extinguish the burners, turn the knob onto (
).
CAUTION:
For reasons of safety, on the 7,2 kW (large) burner, it is possible to use a pan with a maximum diameter of 380 mm;
a pan with a larger diameter would stick outside the edge of the machine and be dangerous for users.
The unit needs to be checked at least twice a year. You have to check the burner, ignition, inter-ignition, maximum and
minimum settings.
5.2
SWITCHING ON THE OVEN BURNER
Mod. G4SF - G6SFA - G6SF2 - G6SFM - G6SFMG
- To switch on the pilot burner of the oven push the knob (Fig. 7) and turn it to the left until it reaches the symbol (
).
Then push the knob down to its maximum and at the same time push the piezoelectric switch button (Fig. 7).
- The pilot flame will be seen through the holes on the oven surface; keep the knob pushed down for another 20 seconds and
then release it. If the flame dies out, repeat the operation.
To turn the oven off completely place the knob onto ( ) position.
IMPORTANT
: before using the oven for the first time heat it up to its maximum temperature for
30 - 40
minutes keeping the
oven door closed to burn possible oil residues which could lead to unpleasant smells.
- To light and adjust the burner, turn the knob to the wished position, keeping in mind that to each position , from 8 to 1, it
corresponds a temperature of approximately:
POS. 8 = 300°C
POS. 4 = 220°C
POS. 7 = 280°C
POS. 3 = 190°C
POS. 6 = 260°C
POS. 2 = 170°C
POS. 5 = 240°C
POS. 1 = 170°C
- To turn the burner off, turn the knob to (
) position, for complete extinction to position ( ).
