First of all, check whether the unit is already fitted for the mains gas and pressure; in case of transformation for working with
other kinds of gas, carefully check the markings on the nozzles, the idle screw and by-pass with Tables II Injectors.
3.5
ADJUSTING THE MINIMUM THERMAL CAPACITY
The right minimum thermal capacity is obtained with the ”calibrated” by-pass idle screw firmly tightened in accordance with
Table II Injectors Ignite the burner as described in Sect. 5 ”User Instructions” on the maximum position ( ); after
approximately 5 minutes of pre-heating, turn the knob onto the minimum position ( ). Check the nozzle pressure and the
minimum thermal capacity. For the 2nd and 3rd Families, the by-pass idle screw should be fully screwed into the cock (Fig.
1 pos. 2).
3.6
LIQUID GAS OPERATION CHECK
Check whether the fitted nozzles correspond to the information of Tables II Injectors.
Check whether the incoming pressure corresponds to the information of Table II.
Make sure that the L.P.G. system has two pressure regulators of sufficient capacity and that the evaporation capacity of the
system is sufficient.
See also the publication entitled ”Installation Instructions and Specifications of LPG systems.”.
3.7
OPERATION CHECK
- Start the unit according to the user instructions.
- Make sure there are no gas leaks following the local procedures.
- Check the ignition and inter-ignition of the pilot burner and main burner.
- Make sure the flue gases are discharged properly.
- Write on a sticker, to stick onto the unit data plate, the gas and pressure for which the unit has been calibrated.

USER’S INTRODUCTION
Explain the operation and use of the unit to the user by referring to the instructions booklet and illustrate any changes.
Leave the instructions booklet with the user and explain he needs it for further reference.

WHAT TO DO WHEN THE OVEN IS NOT BEING USED FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME
After cleaning the oven from the inside and the outside, carry out the following steps:
- Rub all the surfaces with a cloth soaked in some white mineral oil.
- Regularly air the room where the oven stands.
- Strew the door gasket with talcum powder.
STAINLESS STEEL PARTS
- Clean the stainless steel parts every day with warm soapy water, then rinse thoroughly and dry carefully.
- You can keep it shining brightly by periodically wiping it over with liquid detergent, an easily available product.
- You must never clean the stainless steel with steel wool, wire brushes or common steel scrapers since
they may deposit ferrous particles that on oxidizing cause rust points. Stainless steel wool may be used applied in the
direction of the satin finish.
- If the unit is not to be used for a long time, give all the steel surfaces a good wipe over with a cloth lightly soaked in Vaseline
oil in order to apply a protective film. Periodically ventilate the premises.
