HOW IT WORKS
The audio sonic glass breakage detector monitors the glass in the room (French
doors, plate glass windows, etc.). The integral microphone detects the vibrations
from breaking glass. If glass is broken, it immediately sends the information, by
radio, to the base unit.
This detector is compatible only with TwinPass
®
base units.

IMPORTANT

If you are adding an audio sonic glass breakage detector to your alarm system, it
is recommended that you follow carefully the advice in this guide, which has been
produced by security specialists.
To ensure the proper functioning of your detector, it is advisable to use the
TV260 audio sonic tester (which simulates the sound of breaking glass). You
can borrow one from your retailer.
As the tester does not simulate all the sound frequencies of breaking glass, it can only
be used in test mode (a real alarm test is not practical).
The TV260 must be used with care because it produces a very intense sound
(see “precautions for use” on the back of the product). It is advisable to keep
it out of the reach of children.

VERVANGING VAN DE BATTERIJEN
Automatische controle van de staat van de batterijen
Uw centrale memoriseert de staat van de batterijen van uw detectors en meldt u een
eventueel defect tijdens een inschakeling.
Manuele test

U kunt de goede staat van de detector testen door op de testknop de drukken:
indien het lampje van de zenddoos niet oplicht, moet u de batterij vervangen.

Vervang de batterij en ga daarbij als volgt tewerk:

Om te voorkomen dat bij de opening van uw detector een alarm wordt ingescha-
keld, drukt u op de knop UITSCHAKELEN van uw afstandsbediening of vraagt u aan
een van uw naasten om het uitschakelcommando op uw toetsenbord samen te stel-
len. De centrale reageert met de geluidsmelding “Liii…” of met het gesproken
bericht:
“UITSCHAKELEN”
. Open de zenddoos tijdens de geluidsmelding of het
gesproken bericht. Indien het alarm afgaat, stuurt u een uitschakelbevel.

Verwijder de batterij en
wacht 5 min.
alvorens een nieuwe batterij aan te slui-
ten.
●
Hersluit vervolgens uw detector.
Uw detector is opnieuw gebruiksklaar.
De nieuwe batterij moet identiek zijn aan de meegeleverde batterij.
