TROUBLESHOOTING
Malfunction Diagnosis
The airbag does not
deploy when the
activator is pulled.
1. Is the E2 enabled? Check the LED
2. Are the supercapacitators sufficiently charged (is the LED lit orange or green)?
3. Was the autotest successful? Check the LED.
The autotest is not
working.
Are the supercapacitators sufficiently charged to start the motor?
Wait until the LED is lit orange or green.
Self-test (autotest)
result is negative
Check the LED
Check to make sure the compressor wheel is not get blocked by ice or snow.
Dry the system thoroughly before using again.
The airbag does not
fully inflate.
A malfunction can be explained by the following :
1. The airbag was rolled up instead of properly folded.
2. The fabric or foreign materials have become stuck in the zipper.
3. The pressure release button is blocked in the deflation position and is preventing the
backpack valve from closing correctly.
The AA batteries are not
charging the system.
Make sure to use new, high-quality alkaline or lithium AA/LR6 batteries.
Do not use AA zinc carbonate batteries, Ni-Cd, or NiMH rechargeable batteries.
