in each
frequency range.
Interference is possible in the vicinity
of equipment bearing the following
graphic symbol.
Remark 1
The higher frequency range applies at 80 MHz and 800 MHz.
Remark 2
These guidelines may not be applicable in all cases. The propagation of
electromagnetic waves is influenced by their absorption and reflection
by buildings, objects and persons.
1.
Field strengths from fixed transmitters, such as base stations for
radio (cellular/cordless) telephones and land mobile radios, amateur
radio, AM/FM radio and TV broadcasts, cannot be predicted
theoretically with accuracy. An investigation of the location is
recommended to determine the electromagnetic environment
resulting from stationary RF transmitters. If the measured field
strength in the location in which the UNIT is used exceeds the
applicable RF compliance level specified above, the UNIT should
be observed to verify normal operation. If unusual performance
characteristics are observed, it may be necessary to take additional
measures such as reorientation or repositioning of the UNIT.
2.
Over the frequency range 150kHz to 80 MHz, field strengths should
be less than 3 V/m.
