Before use, be sure to insert an SD memory card on which the operation settings file has been saved into the main unit.
This device sounds alarms according to the set values of the operation settings file and saves information such as the
detection data and vehicle status while driving onto the SD memory card. For details on creating the main unit settings
file, see the DN-DSM Manager Owner's Manual.
Turn the power ON.
The power of the main unit turns on when the engine switch
(power switch) is set to ignition ON mode.
When the power supply turns ON and the product starts,
a notification sound (three short beeps) is emitted and the
main unit LED illuminates.
Turn the power supply OFF.
The power supply of the main unit turns off when the engine
switch (power switch) is set to ignition OFF mode.
After the operation record is saved onto the SD memory card,
the power supply turns off and the main unit LED turns off.

Correct operation is not possible if the operation settings file is not saved on the SD memory card.
ATTENTION
• Be sure to use the product with the SD memory card cover closed. If used with the cover open, dust or dirt may enter
and cause a malfunction.
• Do not use a damaged SD memory card. Doing so may damage the main unit. Check the SD memory card periodi-
cally for defects such as cracks, breaking or peeling so that such defects are found at an early stage.
• When inserting the SD memory card, make sure that the terminal side is facing downward.
• Do not save any data on the SD memory card other than the data required for this product. Doing so may prevent cor-
rect recording of the operation record.
• Check that the main unit LED is not lit before removing the SD memory card.
Removing the SD memory card while the LED is ON or flashing may damage the card and interfere with saving data.
• Use the product after inserting the SD memory card into the main unit. If the SD memory card has not been inserted,
the settings saved on the SD memory card cannot be read and the operation record cannot be saved.
ATTENTION
• Do not put your finger or hand into the SD memory card slot. Doing so may cause injury or a malfunction.
• Do not operate this product or insert or remove the SD memory card with wet hands. Doing so may cause
a malfunction or electric shock.

● Insert until a clicking sound is heard.
Insertion
Set the engine switch (power switch) to ignition OFF mode
and insert the SD memory card into the SD memory card
slot.
Removal
Set the engine switch (power switch) to ignition OFF
mode, lightly press in the center area of the SD mem-
ory card and then release your finger.
