This manual uses symbols to indicate information that helps ensure safe and correct use. To prevent hazards
or injuries to yourself or others nearby, make sure you fully understand the meaning of these symbols before
reading the main text. Be sure to follow all of the instructions, because the information is important for safety.

tract from ensuring proper performance of this product.
Meaning of Symbol
Advice Following this advice makes the use of the product safer and more convenient.
Prohibited Indicates a prohibited action.
Mandatory Indicates a required action.
For Safe Use
● Do not allow any water or foreign material intrusion inside this product.
Allowing drinks, metal, flammable materials or other objects to intrude inside this product may cause malfunctions, or fire,
the emission of smoke or electric shock due to electrical shorts.
● Stop using the product immediately if any abnormality, malfunction or damage occurs.
Not doing so may cause fire, electric shock, the emission of smoke or injury.
If recording is not possible, sound is not output, foreign material intrudes into this product, the product is exposed to
water, or this product emits smoke or an abnormal noise or odor, stop using the product immediately and contact the
dealer from which this product was purchased.
● Do not disassemble, repair or modify this product.
Doing so may cause fire, electric shock or a malfunction.
Never disassemble, repair or modify the product, or cut the sheath of the cable and use the power supply of a differ-
ent device.
● Do not block the speaker of the product.
Heat may build up inside and cause fire or a malfunction.
● Do not use for any purpose other than as an onboard device.
Doing so may cause the emission of smoke, fire, electric shock or injury.
● Do not allow an open circuit or electrical short to occur in the cable.

Never take any action that may damage the cable, forcibly pull, bend, twist or modify the cable, place heavy objects
on the cable, or place near a heat generating device.
● Do not use in any vehicle other than a DC 12/24 V (-) grounded vehicle.

● The driver should not operate the product or watch the display while driving.
Doing so may cause a traffic accident.
Be sure to stop the vehicle in a safe place and apply the side brake before operation.

Never drive in a dangerous manner on purpose to verify the performance of the product.
Drive safely by paying attention to the distance to the preceding vehicle, the surrounding traffic conditions and the
driving environment, as well as applying the brake when necessary.
