12. Troubleshooting
This section is intended to help you quickly solve the most common problems that you may encounter with your alarm
system when using it.
All the events can be viewed in the Histories menu.
If in doubt, if the problem persists or if it is not in this list, please contact your installer.
•
Motion detector
• Make sure that there is nothing
interfering with the detection field (animal, vent, heating,
strong draught, fireplace, etc.),
otherwise move the detector.
- If you have a pet, check that your detector is equipped with
the "animal specific" lens.
- Check that your pet or pets respect the limits of use (refer
to detector guide), otherwise use a perimeter protection
system (door/window magnetic contact) to monitor this
zone. Please consult us if you are in any doubt

- Make sure that detector and
the magnet part are not too far apart (see detector guide).
- If the entry is subject to vibration that is too great:
replace the door/window magnetic contact with a motion
detector.
If the problem persists, you can disable the
faulty detector using the Activate/deactivate menu.

When you enter the protected premises, the alarm is
triggered immediately and you don’t have the time to
access a keypad to stop the surveillance.
• The detector(s) protecting the access to the keypad are
not in the "delayed triggering" position.
• Whenever the system detects something or someone
(passing in front of a motion detector or opening of a
protected entry), the detector LED starts flashing.
The batteries must be changed.
• There is a tamper alarm problem on one of the installa-
tion's products.
- Check the tamper alarms.
• The batteries of one of the products are dead
• A door or window remained open
• A protected entry opened during the system's exit
timer (see § 1.3)
Check entries then restart the system. Wait for the time
of the exit timer to check the activation (beep of the alarm
control unit).
• Monitoring defect
The control unit is no longer receiving messages from a
product.
- Refer to the Info menu of the touch screen keypad to
identify the nature of the defect.
- Check the status of the products.
This is an automatic update.
This appears occasionally if the keypad has not been used
recently or if you have made a few changes to the installa-
tion.
- Check that the casing of the unit is properly closed
or that it does not undergo strong vibrations.
- Check that the rubber part inside the product is correctly
positioned.
