9.2.5.10 

“Rotation speed”

The DSP determines (finds and counts) the number of signal periods in the time 
signal. From this, the DSP determines the signal frequency (f = 1 / T) or rotation 
speed (n = 60 * f).  Edge and threshold values can be set.

 

This frequency measurement has upper and lower frequency limits – frequencies 
outside this range cannot be clearly determined (i.e. have insufficient accuracy). 
The following table provides an overview as an example:
