Installing the fingerprint reader

Place the fingerprint reader into the slot on the palm rest.

Replace the two (M2x2) screws that secure fingerprint reader on the display assembly.

Install the:

Remove the:

Disconnect the following cables:

a power board cable
b LED board cable
c keyboard backlight cable
d touchpad cable
e keyboard cable

Disconnect the power button board cable from the power button board and peel the power button board cable from the keyboard
bracket [1, 3].

Peel the two pieces of black tape that covers the keyboard bracket [2, 5].
