Installing System Components

Removing the Back Cover

CAUTION:

The sled must be operated with the sled covers installed to ensure

proper cooling.

CAUTION:

Many repairs may only be done by a certified service technician. You

should only perform troubleshooting and simple repairs as authorized in your
product documentation, or as directed by the online or telephone service and
support team. Damage due to servicing that is not authorized is not covered by
warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions that came with the product.

NOTE:

It is recommended that you always use a static mat and static strap while

working on components in the interior of the system.

Remove the two screws securing the back cover. See Figure 3-9.

Slide the cover off the back of the sled tray. See Figure 3-9.
