5. Peel the tape that covers the power-adapter port connector on the system board.
6. Disconnect the power-adapter port cable from the system board.
7. Peel and lift the Mylar that covers the system board.
8. Disconnect the fan cable.
9. Open the latch and disconnect the I/O-board cable.
10. Peel the tape that covers the USB Type-C port bracket.
11. Remove the two (M2x3) screws that secure the USB Type-C port bracket to the system board.
12. Lift the USB Type-C port bracket off the system board.
13. Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board.
14. Disconnect the touchpad cable from the system board.
15. Disconnect the keyboard-backlight cable from the system board.
16. Disconnect the keyboard cable from the system board.
17. Remove the two (M2x3) screws that secure the system board to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
18. Lift the system board from the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
