Deploying FCoE (FIP Snooping) on Dell Force 10 MXL

The following command will show vital information on the DCBX configuration. Type:

show interfaces

dcbx detail

.

This command will show more specific detail about the configuration that has been

negotiated between the devices. In this example interface TenGigabitEthernet 0/3 is used as a
downlink to a host server and CNA installed in that system. Interface TenGigabitEthernet 0/52 is the
uplink into the top-of-rack FCF switch.

Some key items in these results will be “true or false” for

is configuration source

understanding the negotiations happen between the switches and CNA.
