Removing the optical drive

4. Disconnect the power and data cables from the optical drive.
NOTE:
Ensure that you note the routing of the power and data cable as you remove them from the system board and
drive.
Steps
1. To release the optical drive, press and push the release tab toward the front of the system.
2. Slide the optical drive out of the system.
