3. If installed, remove the PSU blank.
4. Verify that both the PSUs are of the same type and have the same maximum output power.

1. Slide the PSU into the chassis until the PSU is fully seated and the release latch snaps into place.

: If you have unlatched the cable management arm, relatch it. For information about the cable management arm,
see the system’s rack documentation.
2. Connect the safety ground wire.
3. Install the DC power connector in the PSU.

: When connecting the power wires, ensure that you secure the wires with the strap to the PSU handle.
4. Connect the wires to a DC power source.

: When installing, hot-swapping, or hot-adding a new PSU, wait for 15 seconds for the system to recognize the
PSU and determine its status. The PSU status indicator turns green to signify that the PSU is functioning properly.
