If you need to service an SSD, turn off the sled and before removing the SSD wait for 30 seconds after the Power-on indicator on the sled
turns off. Otherwise, the SSD may not be recognized after it is reinstalled and the sled is turned on again.
Removing an SSD from an SSD carrier

Remove the SSD carrier out of the sled.
Steps
Pull the rails on the side of the carrier and lift the SSD out of the carrier.
