Installing the cooling shroud
Prerequisites

Damage due to servicing that is not authorized by Dell is not covered by your warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions
that came with the product.
NOTE:
You must remove the cooling shroud to service other components inside the system.

Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions section.

Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your system section.
Steps
1
Align the cooling shroud guide with the guide slot on the chassis.
2
Press the cooling shroud into the system until the release latch engages with the slot on the chassis and clicks into place.
