Main Menu

5.  Select the BUZZER drop down list to set the length of the buzzer sound.
6.  Click the channels at the bottom to record the channel when motion is triggered.
7.  Click the POST RECORDING drop down list to set up the length of recording after motion has stopped.
8. Click 

APPLY at the bottom of the screen to save your changes. 

COPY settings from one camera to other cameras:
1.  Select the COPY drop down list and choose a camera number.
2.  Select the TO drop down list to select a camera number or ALL cameras.
3.  Click the COPY button. The settings will now be copied to your specified camera(s).
4.  Click APPLY at the bottom of the screen to save your changes. 

Area Setup
Area Setup allows you to set up the Motion Detection area. This setting allows you to adjust particular areas of each 

camera where motion will and will not be detected. This is useful if you have a camera pointed towards something 

that is always moving, such as a busy road or a tree. This way the DVR only records motion that is out of the ordinary, 

thus saving you HDD space and providing you with more days of recording. 

Adjusting the AREA setup: 
1.  Click the SETUP button next to Area.  A screen will open allowing you to 

select the motion detection area. 

2.  The screen is fully red indicating the DVR is automatically set to detect 

motion throughout the whole screen. 

3.  To adjust the motion detection area, left click the mouse on the squares 

that you do NOT want motion detected.  The squares that will NOT have 

motion detected will be black. 

4.  Right click to exit the SETUP screen and click APPLY at the bottom of the 

screen to save your changes. 

Alarm Tab

The Alarm Tab is for external alarms only, not motion detection. An external sensor and alarm are required    

(not included).
•  Alarm In:  

The channel you want to setup.

•  Alarm Type:  

Select alarm type, NO - Normal open, NC - Normal close or  Disable - Off.

Normal Open: I/O status Alarm will be activated while sensor is ON

Normal Close: I/O status alarm will be activated while sensor is OFF

Disable: I/O status alarm will not be triggered

•  Alarm Out:  

This DVR does not support this function.

•  Latch Time:  

This DVR does not support this function.

•  Show Message:   DVR will display a message on-screen when external alarm is triggered.

•  Buzzer:  

Set length of the buzzer sounding when external alarm is triggered (Off,10s, 20s, 40s, 60s).

•  Send Email:  

Send an email when external alarm is triggered.

•  Full Screen:  

If external alarm is triggered on a channel, that channel will switch to full screen mode. 

•  Record Channel:   The channel will begin recording when external alarm is triggered.

•  Post Recording:   Set the record length after external alarm stops (30s, 1 minute, 2 minutes, 5 minutes). 

•  Copy:  

Copy your current channel settings to other channels on the DVR.
