Default Alarms and Events

The PORTswitch 900FP RMON alarms and events MIB is configured
with nine alarms and events. Table D-1 describes the PORTswitch
900FP configured alarms and events.

The module's operational state has
changed.

Total ports events

The total number of times a port has
become nonoperational, autopartitioned,
or unavailable.

Total repeater errors

The total number of errors for this
module.

Redundant-link state
changes

The module's link state change has
occurred while using redundant-link
configuration.

Security violation

A security violation has occurred on one
or more ports.

Media available or
unavailable

One or more media have become
available or unavailable.
