Control 

Description 

Parameter Setting Buttons 

Serve to display current device settings: 
Beam Size (mm); Duration (pulse width, ms); Frequency 
(Hz)-pulse repetition frequency. By pressing the 
corresponding button the Parameter can be selected for 
editing. Current value of each laser setting is displayed in 
corresponding window. 

Fluence Button 

Serves to set Fluence on the target. After user presets 
desired fluence level, the system parameters are adjusted 
based on the laser calibration table (stored in system 
memory) and current Pulse Duration and Beam Size 
settings. Fluence is a measure of energy density and is 
shown as Joules/cm

2

 

Message / Prompt Area 

Place to display current system status, as well as Help and 
Error messages. The numerical Edit Keypad is also 
displayed in this area when there are no system messages. 

Memory Selection Buttons 

Serve to recall pre-set Operating Parameters stored in each 
of 5 Memory Buttons. 

Save Button 

Serves to switch between EDIT and READY system modes 
while saving new parameter settings. 

Ready Button 

Serves to switch between EDIT and READY system modes 
without saving new parameter settings. 

Keypad Buttons 

Used to edit system operating parameters.  

Pulse Counter 

Pulse Counter displays number of laser pulses fired since 
last counter reset. In order to reset, press “

R

“ button. 

Service Button 

Used to switch between EDIT and SERVICE screens
