Modems

Q-Series

Modem Diagnosics

The 950MP Console port (RS232) on the modem can be accessed through a Telnet session
on the LAN M&C port. This function is enabled in the Admin Page under the Modem settings.
Com Port set to ON enables the modem console connectivity.

Modem power Button makes it possible to power cycle the modem in order to follow the iDirect
instructions for recovery.

Use Putty on the QCT IP Address and Port 27018.

The Putty Terminal must be set to Local echo Force Off and Local line editing Force Off to
have the full functionality to the modem.
