   SAFERY LASER SCANNER

EDM

The External Device Monitoring (EDM) function controls external devices by verifying 
the OSSDs status.

EDM enabled

When EDM is enabled it is necessary to connect the EDM input to a 24 VDC normally-
closed contact of the device to be monitored.

The figures below show how to connect the EDM input.
