Powering off the System
1.
Stop all I/O from hosts to the system (see Section
5.3, Stopping I/O
on page 35).
2.
Shut down both controllers using one of the two methods below:

Use RAIDar to shut down both controllers, as described in the
EF4024 RAIDar
User Guide
❖
Use the command-line user interface (CLUI) to shut down both controllers, as
described in the
EF4024 CLUI Command Reference Guide
3.
Turn off the controller enclosure by unplugging the power cords from the rack power
source.
4.
Turn off all expansion enclosures by unplugging the power cords from the rack power
source.
